Magazine Analysis

Using Prezi I analysed two music magazines. i looked at the front cover, contents page and the double page spread, this has allowed me to see the conventions of the magazine's genre. To achieve my front cover and contents page, I went around the school and took medium shots of two people in sixth form following the dress code for the front cover's main image. I altered them slightly on Photoshop to brighten up the image. I added font to the cover and contents by using the text tool. the font I used for the masthead was Lucida Handwriting. the font colour is the same colour as the G on the logo to create a house style and limit the colour. The cover line font is Britannic bold. I got the logo off of the school website. On the contents page for the title I used Lucida Handwriting and Mandria GD for the main font this is because its clear and understandable to read. I edited in pins to the contents page and attached them to the images to make it look like a notice board.
